Great little restaurant on the Main Road, about a 5 minute walk from the studio with out door seating in the summer, so great people watching. Menu changes according to the season, but mostly French Bistro inspired.

If you have the time this is a must do! Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain. This is a lovely spot to have a picnic or visit the tea room. In the summer there are concerts that take place on a Sunday evening, which is amazing.

In the summer there are concerts that take place on a Sunday evening, which is amazing.

Sea Point Safety
Sea Point is generally a safe area to walk and I would highly recommend a walk on the promenade in the early evening as everyone is out walking their dogs, riding their bikes or going for a run.
After dark I would stick to Main Road or Beach Road and just be aware of your surroundings. We always will walk out in the evening and take an Uber home after dinner if it is more than a 5 minute walk.

Table Mountain
I would highly recommend you book your tickets for Table Mountain online as it will save you from queuing twice once you get there (once to purchase tickets and then again to go up the cable car)
Also check the website before you head over as the weather is different on that side of the mountain. The website will advise if the cable car is operating, the times and the weather conditions at the top.
