Great Brewery with Great Food. This is a drive as oppose to a walk to Pug Ryan's, but they offer their own beers and a great menu. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Hard to choose between Drinks and Sightseeing for this bar / food truck restaurant on Dillon Marina... but what makes it special is the view. This is a great place to relax, have a drink or lunch and just take it all in.

The parking lot just south of Buffalo Drive and Wildernest Road in Silverthorne is a trailhead for some great easy hiking. There are aspen groves and long ranging views along this trail. It is one of our favorite trails in the fall and it is a great hike in the spring and summer as well.

This is a great sightseeing trail. It is a moderately short and flat loop with scenic lookouts of the surrounding mountains and Lake Dillon along the way.

Keystone has terrain for all skill levels. It can be crowded on a big weekend day so get there early and find a part of the mountain that you like that is away from the main lifts at the base.

One of the big Colorado ski resorts - Loveland is also just 12 miles away!
I've never skied Loveland. My impression is that the terrain is a little more technical than beginner. People who go here avoid crowds and can usually find deals online. Definitely more of a locals spot and there are plenty of people who love it.
Although only 12 miles away, you will have to drive back through the Eisenhower Tunnel to get to Loveland, or you can go over Loveland Pass if the weather cooperates.
