So you've come to Denmark, you gotta try the danish! (not that its called that here). Its a small bakery with quality baking, with a wide variety of traditional Danish pastry and bread, as well as some more globally known pastry classics such as Croissant's, chocolate cakes and so on. If you go there try a "thebirkes", hard to pronounce, a standard Danish pastry and really good! The place is called Brødkunsten

Italian quality takeout, which strangely enough has managed to gather danish traditionel foods in the menu. This is by far not a bad thing though, because both italian and danish is actually prepared quite good. Wanna try something danish? Try "øllebrød", a traditional danish desert, or for some breakfast, none the less great, and properly very different from whatever you have tried before. The place is called Behovpizza

So this is a bit special, and probably mostly for the young. Its a street known in Copenhagen for having the best Shawarma and kebab. Its not easy to reach the top and there is a fierce competition between the different Shawarma restaurants to create the best Shawarma, and once a year they actually have a Competition for this purpose. To be clear, have you been partying in Copenhagen, do you need a midnight snack adventure, or do you have hangover and need something delicious to stuff in your face, go there! The king of this competition is definitely Kösem, which have won 4 years in a row, but the others are great too!
