This is a great walk from my house. It crossed the 1-10 pedestrian bridge, which is always a good time! Huge outdoor eating and drinking area, bustling with locals or sit inside and feel like you are in a different time. Great food and local AF.

This is the Original first "craft" coffee hang in Phoenix. It is an absolutely fantastic place for people watching. It is like going to the human zoo to see the absurd to the beautiful. The food is great, the coffee is great and the cocktails are great. This makes for a nice lightrail jaunt from my place to LUX to see some of Downtown Phoenix.

Jerome is a cool old mining town atop the Mingus mountains. It overlooks Cottonwood and Sedona. This is a great 1 day roadtrip from Phoenix where you can get some good eats and a drink at the Spirit Room. A very cool daytrip with all sorts of character.

It is a fantastic 1/2 to full day car exploration of some incredible terrain. It is mostly paved and turns in to a well graded dirt road that can be done in a sedan. Extraordinary during wild flower season and common to see Rams and other wildlife. It passes several lakes and Roosevelt dam. Stop at Tortilla flat for some grub!

If you like Architecture, visit this historic Frank Lloyd Wright project. It is a stunning example of his style. Call the concierge to book a guided tour and learn about the history during construction, the prohibition parties, the architecture and the glamor of this amazing place. I highly recommend it.
