Unfortunately in recent years the area is turning more and more into a big shopping mall, but that also might be convenient for people who want to shop while sight seeing at the same time.

A visit to the forest is a great way to escape the tourist crowds of Istanbul and enjoy a bit of fresh air, but it is crowded in the weekends.
