This church is under renovation. It is an unusual church that was also a fortress where residents of Suđurađ used to seek refugee from pirate invasions. The nuns in Sv. Trojstvo would see the coming ships from the top, then start to ring their church bell, which was signalling an emergency to everyone. People would run to Sv. Duh and fight back the pirate attacks when pirates reached the Sv. Duh and tried to break in.

A beautiful church, recently restorated, with the ruins and the watch tower of the Benedictine monastery. From our property walk upwards down the road. The road is beautiful and is signposted (look for signs for Velika Gospa).
