The Cistercian monastery or abbey Stična is the oldest monastery on Slovenian territory. We are members of reformed Benedictine life. In France, the reform was initiated and carried out by St. Robert, sv. Alberik and St. Štefan Harding, considered to be the founders of the Order. The name comes from the first and home abbey in Citeaux (read: siito, Latin: Cistercium) in Burgundy, France.

Parks & Nature
The Krka cave opens above the source of the Krka River north of Gradiček village. This is a horizontal cave from which the underground water only creates a flood. At the entrance there is a spacious hall with locally sagged walls. The length is over 200 and wide to 30 meters. The ceiling is formed by balanced stone funds. The floor is covered with grub and large boulders, and eastwardly shaded to the ceiling. The court finishes a 30 meter long siphon lake.

Krka Cave
8 GradičekThe Krka cave opens above the source of the Krka River north of Gradiček village. This is a horizontal cave from which the underground water only creates a flood. At the entrance there is a spacious hall with locally sagged walls. The length is over 200 and wide to 30 meters. The ceiling is formed by balanced stone funds. The floor is covered with grub and large boulders, and eastwardly shaded to the ceiling. The court finishes a 30 meter long siphon lake.
