This is the place for local rural history. They have different buildings filled with stuff from the past. Even some of the buildings are from the era, or reconstructed. After the tour, go into the main building for some down home country cookin' from scratch. Then walk through the gift shop.

This is only a 5 minute drive or about a 10-15 minute walk from the Cabin. This is where we will take a quick dip in the lake, to cool off. They have a swimming area, pavilion with grills, and boat ramp/dock. Best part, its all free!!!

This is one of our all time favorite places to go. Whether its camping or just a day to get out in nature. They have some great hiking trails from the novice to the experienced hikers. There is a swimming area, playground, cabins, campground, day campgrounds (each spot has a grill and picnic table), during the summer they have activities for the campers.

They have some great hiking trails from the novice to the experienced hikers. There is a swimming area, playground, cabins, campground, day campgrounds (each spot has a grill and picnic table), during the summer they have activities for the campers.
Beautiful place. There is a walking trail that goes along the river. There is a campground next to it with trails, campground, cabins, etc. Drive across the dam and there is a Marina on the right or keep going up the hill and you will come to overlook area that gives you another look at the Dam.

Norris Dam

There is a campground next to it with trails, campground, cabins, etc. Drive across the dam and there is a Marina on the right or keep going up the hill and you will come to overlook area that gives you another look at the Dam.
The Marina is great to go to rent boats, canoes, kayaks, etc. Every time we go up there they have more stuff to rent. Pricing is not too bad.

Dollywood's Splash Country Water Adventure Park
2700 Dollywood Parks BlvdThis is an outdoor water park. Slides, wave pool, lazy river, just to name a few! Great for all ages!! Its about a 45 minute to an hour drive, but once you're there you'll have fun until the sunsets!!
This is a great place to take a walk/run/jog and be in nature. This takes along the Clinch River and then through the wood. It will only take you about 10 minutes to get there in a vehicle. There are some good places off the beaten trail by the river that you can go fishing.

This is a great place to take the kids to blow off some steam. It is a big playground. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables and grills (I think).

It's a paved hiking trail to the top. It is a hike! Be prepared to stop and rest every chance you can get. There is benches along the trail. Also bring a sweater, it can get chilly up there!! The views are magnificent as you go up and once you're up there!!!
