One of our favorite spots in Calafate. Laguna Nímez is a natural reserve were birds come to nest and breed during the warm months. Take your camera and enjoy this peaceful place. 20 minutes away (walking) from the city center and a 1.5 hour self guided tour inside the reserve.

The bus terminal (just recently moved to the outer part of town) gathers all regular buses that come into town. Here you will find offices for buses going to El Chaltén and Puerto Natales, as well as buses to Perito Moreno Glacier.
