Alyeska Resort in Girdwood is our ski-resort. Right behind the lodge is a trail called Winner Creek Trail - maybe 3 miles round trip with gorgeous views. Or, climb Mt. Alyeska and have lunch on the top of the mountain and ride the tram down. About 45 minutes south of Anchorage
