The general area where this is located is in the Wester Park, which used to be an industrial area (plus a park), but recently they converted everything into a chic restaurant area. The Ketelhuis is also a cinema. It's nice to walk around, enjoy the sun, eat, check out the buildings.

It's a hippie restaurant (they also have parties and concerts in the evening) with a really nice vibe and good food. To get there, to go Central Station with tram 2, cross on the other side of the train station, and take the ferry (free) to NDSM-werf (the one on the left)

It's a very nice film museum, right on the big "lake" at Central Station. Nice view, good food, totally checking out. To get there, take tram 2 to Central Station (last stop), go on the other side of the train station and take the ferry to Buiksloterweg. The museum is within walking distance from the ferry (the ferry is free)
