Lovely gentle circular walk. A good warm up or warm down from the Tongariro Crossing! Fantastic native NZ bush and birdlife. 30 mins from Te Ariki.

Lovely river for day walks or mountain biking (hire from Turangi). Also a favourite for fly fishing, again trips can be arranged from Turangi or just watch on with interest (just watch those flies/hooks while walking behind anyone casting!)
