Slightly upscaled Thai that is still respectful to the essential spirit of the cuisine (as a house, we tend to be rather hostile towards Asian fusion, it is so often sloppily done). Relatively cheap too considering service, quality and pretty interior. The Massaman and Panang Curry are our go-tos. For the meat-eaters, their Gra Prow Kai Dow is fantastic.

Every time you are in the Upper East Side, make a point to drop by here. Any of their cakes will undoubtedly be among the best you've ever had. Ben and I swear by the Brooklyn Blackout and the Red Velvet.

Ben and I are big fans of the podcast memory palace, and there are several shows revolving around pieces from the permanent collection. We have spent over a year promising to block out a day at the Met to listen to these episodes. We have unfortunately never quite gotten around to it. Perhaps you can go and try it out and tell us what you think?
