Borough is a friendly local bar, but also a restaurant that has some of my favorite brunches and dinners around. I always order the scrambled eggs for breakfast, which come with a salad, white or wheat toast, grits or home fries, and bacon or sausage for about $10. For dinner, the penne a la vodka with shrimp is great and so is the Salmon. Great for brunch, but not breakfast - they usually don't open until 10:30 or 11.

Prospect Park has everything - nature trails, playgrounds, open lawns good for picnics, scenic ponds, areas with grills for barbecuing, and much more. To get there, just go to the Franklin Avenue C and Shuttle station at Franklin Avenue and Fulton Street and get on the Shuttle to Prospect park. It's just three stops!
