For a fresh, delicious, large and affordable lunch, pick up some sandwiches here and take them to the beach. I love the pressed focaccia sandwiches, especially the grilled chicken with pesto, fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. The heroes are also good. And you can have your own salads made. Check out the menu online and order ahead to avoid waiting at busy times.

After the beach, drive east towards Montauk and stop in the Clam Bar (on your left). Very casual. Sit outside and have the best lobster roll you'll find out here. For a scenic ride back to our house, head west on Montauk highway. Take your first Right on Napeague Meadows Rd. At the end, turn Left onto Cranberry Hole Rd. Turn Right on Cross Highway. Go to the end and turn Left on Abrahams Landing. Go almost to the end where you see Montauk Highway ahead. Just before it, turn Right onto Old Stone Highway. Then make your first left on Side Hill Rd/Deep Lane. At the end, turn Left on Town Line. From there, just follow your map app back here.

Clam Bar At Napeague
2025 Montauk HwyAfter the beach, drive east towards Montauk and stop in the Clam Bar (on your left). Very casual. Sit outside and have the best lobster roll you'll find out here. For a scenic ride back to our house, head west on Montauk highway. Take your first Right on Napeague Meadows Rd. At the end, turn Left onto Cranberry Hole Rd. Turn Right on Cross Highway. Parks & Nature
It's one of the East Hampton Village beaches with private parking so you can't park there. The secret is that there's a safe and free parking lot on 27 that's only a 7 minute scenic walk to the beach. Just drop your stuff off at the beach - it's safe - and then go park your car. Drive up Cross Highway, turn right at 27, then make an immediate right into the parking lot. The building there has been abandoned for as long as I've lived here. It's perfectly legal to park there.
