Vredenburg is the starting point of trajectum lumen. Trajectum Lumen is a free light-art walk that winds its way through Utrecht city centre. After sunset this special walking route takes you past the most beautifully illuminated spots in the city. The project features 15 works of light art by Dutch and foreign artists and students at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, and is visible from sunset until midnight every night.

There's a small 'farm' for children, children can even cuddle with some of the animals. Next to that they put a lot of attention to education, so there's a whole area which is not only farm. For
example, there's a path where you have to walk barefeet. There's a playground for as well young as older children. The little farm and playground are just a part of the park. The whole park is much
bigger. So you'll always find a good spot for you :)

The old mill yard of the ‘Molen de Ster’ sawmill forms a unique industrial heritage site, largely dating back to the eighteenth century. After several renovations, the site is currently used in a versatile manner.
There's a small cafe and outside there's a playground for kids to play. Also there are some animals (goats/pig)
The view is nice, because it's next to a canal.
