A really lovely little town with a great places to eat. I recommended The Seagate pub/restaurant. Pretty promenade walks and hidden shops.

Loads of shops, great beaches, lovely cafes and restaurants and the Castle museum and café near The canal, so many different areas to explore and wonder up onto the headland, walk as far as you dare.

stunning setting although parking and getting there by car is over an unmade and slightly overgrown track at points. Best to park at Docton Mill gardens and walk down, unless you're not precious about the odd bramble scratch on your car. Steep steps to the pebble beach and a dip in the waterfall pool for the more daring.
