Another gem of the west side. Great cocktails, fantastic Art Deco interior, and completely hidden away in a residential neighborhood. There's not even a sign - just look for the green house.

It looks a bit scary on the outside, but it's really not. Small completely divey bar but great beer selection on tap and friendly bartenders. I like to go early before it gets crowded.

This is the closest "big" grocery store to the house. It's a 5-min drive and is in a big shopping plaza with a Kmart and a few other chain stores. Across the street is a Lowe's.

This place is sort of a hangout for locals, but if you run out of toilet paper, or need mayonnaise (or some other grocery staple) they're convenient.
