The place to be! All the locals hang out here. It's the "Central Perk" of Rockland. Funky vibe and good food and drink. They occasionally have open mic nights with live music at night on the weekends.

This is actually a 'wine bar' that serves light food. A great place for happy hour, to grab a drink before dinner, or stay for dinner. Great atmosphere!

This a charming little vineyard on Owls Head. Enjoy a wine tasting and glass of wine and catch some views of the water while rocking on the rocking chairs on the porch. They also have a little barn where you can visit their goats and chickens.

My personal favorite. This is a must do while visiting this area. You will not be disappointed. The wines are amazing and so is the restored barn that you will be sipping in. Enjoy not only the wine and snacks, but the stunning views of the vineyard and the distant mountains that create the perfect backdrop. Be sure to check their website for their special event listings.

Pack your lunch and enjoy the views. Or spend a few hours on either island, but some sort of transportation is required. Plan to bring your car or bicycle.

This is the best place to walk your dog. It's a 1 - 2.5 (depending on the loop you take) nature trail that allows dogs to be off leash. The terrain is packed gravel and mostly flat so it's accessible to just about everybody. A very pretty walk that your dog is sure to love.
