This place is perfect if you’re looking for a nicer spot for dinner within walking distance from the apartment, this is your best bet. They serve gourmet farm-to-table fare with great ambiance.

We’d argue that they serve the best, most authentic tacos in all of NYC. It’s a tiny, hole-in-the-wall place, so we recommend checking their site for their hours prior to walking over.

This is a delicious wood burning oven pizza spot! They often have a wait, so if you have some time to kill, you can grab a drink at Hop Hill about half a block away that has a full bar, but is most known for their large beer selection.

This is a neighborhood favorite mediterranean restaurant. You hardly feel like you’re in NYC here on its beautiful tree-lined neighborhood street. It’s about a 15 min walk from the apt or a very quick car ride.

Right down the street towards the Clinton/Washinton C-train stop on Fulton and St. James, this is a cookie shop that also serves great coffee and pastries. This is our most frequented coffee shop and couldn’t be more convenient from the apartment.
