Local walks to pubs

All within 10 - 15 mins: Drive 10 mins to South Cadbury and park and walk up Cadbury Camp, an old iron age fort. Stunning views and cattle grazing in the middle. Various paths round the perimeter of the top and hills to race up and down for small people while the grown ups admire the views. A drink (or lunch...) at The Camelot Arms at the base after. Or drive, park and walk on to The Queens Head at Corton Denham where dogs and muddy boots are welcome. Lovely lunches and best bloody marys in the world Or drive to King Alfred's Tower and Stourhead Woods for magical woodland walks. Or go walking round the stunning formal gardens and grounds of nearby Stourhead House You can also walk to the Stags Head pub in Yearlington acroos the fields from our house - check the MapsUK app or OS maps on our windowsill for routes.
