this is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood, it is the BEST for dates. The setting is traditional japanese with private booths, dim lit pathways and decorated with zen garden stones and bamboo. Very intimate and charming. Try the tasting menu for 2! On the pricey side but so memorable.

On the pricey side but so memorable.
We always take non New York friends here. it's a very fun bar, the floor is covered with sand and there are tiny sharks in a tank when you walk in! very spacious in the backroom. The food is comfort (sea)food style if you want to grab a bite.

my favorite local spot to grab a quick lunch and coffee on the go, try their Sabich salad. it is to die for. a combination of middle eastern hot and cold platter of goodness with creamy sauces.

we are obsessed with the fresh wild-caught trout here, and come just for that....and the setting, and the good wine :) a really fun spot with great outdoor seating facing the park, perfect for summer dinner dates...
