Akerselva river runs through Oslo, north to south. I recommend a walk along the river, in any direction. About 15 minutes walk north of my apartment is a nice waterfall. Go there for a contemplative break from the city!

Getting Around
Closest tram station to the apartment. Trams 11, 12 and 13 take you downtown. My preferred way of getting around.
There is also a citybike rack - but they are everywhere!

The sauna is especially good for the winter months, but in summer you can also jump in the fjord afterwards - at your own risk ;)
