Due to Covid we are trying to somewhat limit class size and trying to control classes on a class by class basis. You may book experience here or contact through Airbb Experiences to setup your private class time. We are Covid conscious and sterilize between classes, have masks and gloves available. In this class you will create your own all natural soy scented candles and learn the basics of candle making. As A chandler ( candle maker) I will walk you through the process of formulating your perfect scent. Use one of our 60+ all natural phthalate free fragrances or blend your own custom scent. Three soy candles. One 8 oz and two 4 oz. Classes are approximately 2 hours Typical Workshop: Check In/Mixer - Introductions, safety and Introduction to Candle Making -Fragrance Exploring, mixing, Pouring -Create custom label (my favorite part) add botanicals, Mingle and Hang While Your Candle Cools Other things to note Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to get settled. At Meadowcroft Wines, learn about the art and science of winemaking by blending and bottling your very own bottle of wine. We’ll start with a stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens of Cornerstone Sonoma and an idyllic vineyard for a firsthand look at the vines. As we walk the rows, We’ll share why the iconic Sonoma Valley is the perfect place to winegrapes. Then, we’ll sit to create unique blends from wines that have been aged in separate barrels to craft your own red blend using Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec Petit Verdot and/or Cabernet Franc to place your own signature style into a Bordeaux based red blend. Each person will hand-cork their own bottle of wine and take it home to share. No previous wine experience is necessary - perfect for all levels of wine experience and interest. Other things to note: You'll blending will be guided by one of our knowledgeable team members. Bring comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera. We will bike on our local country roads while enjoying stops in vineyards, walking through 160 year old wine caves and even, during the harvest season, we enjoy tasting the grapes and testing the sugar levels. All our experiences are geared towards each small group's needs and wants. We will enjoy a private lunch at one of the wineries, a behind the scenes cheese tasting and more. The wineries we pick are diverse and the route is designed to show our guests what Sonoma has to offer. Other things to note Our locally guided experience includes the lunch, waters, and the behind the scenes cheese tasting and tour but does NOT include the tasting fees which typically run between $35-45 average per winery.

A party of 2-20 guests will be welcomed onto a next to the vineyard property with a signature cocktail of homemade limoncello and sparkling wine to enjoy with a trio of passed hors d’oeuvres . Cocktail hour can be enjoyed in the garden or in my garden house which is open to views of the garden and vineyard and mountains beyond. Guests will then be asked to come to the deck to enjoy an eight course meal. Six superior wines from a variety of Sonoma/Napa wineries will be included and paired with the pre- fixed menu choices. I have an abundance of experience pairing wines and know many wine makers in the region so I would be more than happy to recommend wineries to visit, which wineries have the best views, etc. The goal for my experience is that my guests leave relaxed but that all of their senses have been satiated by magical wine country.

The Epicurean Connection is offering private hands on cheesemaking class with award winning Cheesemaker/Chef Sheana Davis & Wine Educator/Cheesemaker Ben Sessions. Class included hands on cheesemaking class, a cheese cloth, cheese ladle, cheese recipe card and cheese trail map, artisan cheese tasting and complimentary Rose. Join us at Pushpak Motors for your guided tour of Wine Country. Riding our environmentally responsible, road-safe electric trikes, we will take you to areas of Sonoma that most locals aren't even aware of! We will describe the history of the area, show you some of the wonderful homes in town, and take you for a wine tasting. (Wine tastings are optional and incur an additional charge at the winery.) This activity will be tailored to your level of woodworking skills; from beginner to experienced. You will be reclaiming cedar or redwood to create an heirloom, movable, durable toy to enjoy or pass on to someone special. Some of these toys, that were made 30 years ago, are still being displayed by my nephews and nieces. The day will begin with 2-3 hours in the shop cutting, shaping and gluing parts for your chosen toy. To allow time for the glue to dry, you will have 1 hour of private time in the afternoon to: - hike on trails through the woods on our 30 acres - walk or drive down (1/3 mile) to the year-round creek to swim or simply commune with the natural forest here on our property - pick vegetables from our large, seasonal garden for a luncheon salad - simply relax in creekside hammocks or patio furniture - explore the wonderful historic and forested charm of Nevada County - use our hot tub overlooking our creek and wooded canyon The afternoon will involve 1-2 additional hours in the shop to complete your heirloom toy to take home and relish the accomplishment of having created an amazing product. Learn to make high quality tonic water for mixing the perfect gin and tonic. We will go through the process of making your perfect tonic water mixer. Flavors, aromas, bitterness, sweetness, acidity, and carbonation will all be explored Lastly, we will have you prepare a non alcoholic gin and tonic to sample your newfound skills.

This will be a fun and inexpensive wine-tasting experience in Napa Valley, directed by a true Napa local. I'll drive you to two wineries (that I make reservations for and pick out based on your wine-tasting preferences). In addition, I will stop by 1-2 beautiful spots in Napa for photos. This wine tour will be three hours long. NOTE: 1) winery tasting fees are not included and are paid directly to the wineries. 2) Lunch is not included but I can pick it up for you in between wineries.
