A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax or adventure in a modern cabin cut into a rock wall <15 mins from Salida, CO. We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Spectacular mountain views! Nestled near the base of several 14,000 ft peaks, this small house is everything you need and more. Open floor plan with vaulted ceilings make the space feel huge. Central location makes for an excellent base camp for all your outdoor adventures. 50 miles~49 minutes to the Great Sand Dunes, near hot springs, alligator farm, and several trail heads. After a long day enjoy the outdoor firepit, or curl up on the oversized couch and watch your favorite movies on Netflix.

The Aerie

A peaceful place nestled in the piñon/juniper forest, with the 14,000’ Sangre de Cristo peaks to the east and the San Luis Valley stretching west. Stunning sunsets! Very private. Hot tub. 10 minute drive to Crestone, near hiking trails and the numerous spiritual centers. This is also a great base camp for climbing Challenger Point and Kit Carson Peak. Great Sand Dunes National Park is a one hour drive. Three commercial hot springs near by. Dark Sky Community. No pets or smoking. Come, enjoy!
