The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. Our 88-acre farm spreads up a steep hillside above the village of Randolph, one mile away. The land is a mixture of open areas where we rotate our sheep flock daily, and wooded land with trails and old stone walls. Located in the Jay, it's a perfect base camp for summer hikes, bikes or paddles in the Adirondacks. SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge.
