South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. You will find so many things to do including walking, sightseeing, fishing, visiting many types of attractions. We offer a warm welcome and as much or as little interaction as you prefer. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Little Lea is a cosy, newly renovated studio apartment, with a mezzanine level double bed, compact kitchenette, bathroom with shower and free parking. A 7-8 minute walk down the hill will get you to the centre of the historical town of Lostwithiel where there are a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket and the beautiful River Fowey. Lostwithiel Railway Station is a 5 minute walk, and is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

The Cottage at Trevelyan -rural Cornwall

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. Coming by car is essential. It is an old farm building, sympathetically converted using the available space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in!
