Several bigger towns are only 10 -12 minutes away and you’ll be close to many popular attractions : Waimakariri Gorge, Castle hill, Arthur’s Pass , conservation areas, ski fields, lakes, waterfall walks & mountain bike tracks

Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

With easy access to coastal walking tracks, 500m walk to the beach, 5 mins from Lyttelton & 20 mins to Christchurch central this space is the perfect getaway spot. Castle Hill Studio

Castle Hill Studio has everything you need after a day exploring the nearby Ski fields, Craigieburn trails, Cave Stream, and Kura Tawhiti Rocks from your doorstep. Spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry, the ground floor Studio has its own private entry. Secure bike or ski storage are availible by arrangement. New Black Diamond Mondo bouldering mats are available for our Bouldering guests to hire. While the studio is spacious, it is best suited to 2 singles or 1 couple with young children.

THE BIRD'S NEST - Secluded getaway!

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. This luxury hideaway provides the peace and quiet of nature, whilst maintaining close proximity to all that the city and suburbs has to offer. Some highlights include relaxing in our private hot tub watching the sun set, strolls along the banks of the Heathcote river, and afternoon gelato just around the corner. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering continental breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers !!!
