Historical Heritage Listed Mill and smallholding

The property is part of an English Heritage Listed water mill that used to grind corn ,and this part used to be the Millers' home- the host lives next door in the converted mill.Sadly the water wheel long gone,but the mill pit survives and sympathetic renovations ensures the character of this unique and lovely ancient building remain.If you love quirky old buildings with antique furniture ,stone walls and beams- and friendly sheep,this is the place for you!-( 4 people max.)

Suitable for max. 2 adults (especially walkers or cyclists), ideally positioned for access to the delights of the Moor and woodlands on our doorstep, the coast (10 miles away) and Exeter (15 miles) and Plymouth (25 miles). En-suite shower-room and fully equipped kitchen.

The Garden Flat is located in a listed building within easy walking distance of Ashburton Cookery School and the lovely shops and cafes in our tiny town. Dartmoor National Park is on our doorstep and the stunning South Devon coastline is just a short drive away. One dedicated parking space. One well behaved dog is welcome, there is a fee of £30 per stay to bring one dog.

The barn is surrounded by countryside in the popular village of Broadhempston which has two pubs and a community village shop. The village is close to Totnes and the stunning coastline of the South Hams. It is also within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park and the popular tourist resort of Torbay.
