The living/dining room is spacious and the well-equipped kitchen has a large cooker and a breakfast area. Ashburton offers antique shops galore, plus lots of food choices with a fantastic deli , an award-winning fish deli and an artisan bakery in the town centre, and there are many traditional pubs close by.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE IN A RURAL Area (and access is down NARROW LANES ,The Granary is an self contained apartment above an old barn which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard , it is a romantic county side escape perfect for a couple to relax and enjoy the beautiful Devon countryside as this is in a working farm you may experience some noise tractors ,cocks crowing ,geese ,some farm machinery repairs in the day,sheep,cows,dogs.and low flying helicopters ,and the odd military jet .

It is a 5 minute walk to The Cridford Inn, 8 miles to Exeter, 10 miles from the stunning South Devon Coast and 3 miles from Dartmoor National Park.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day.
