The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

We love our quiet country home that we decided to share the back separate part of our home for mature Airbnb guest. We also decided to make the minimum stay for 7 days. Ideal for somebody who likes to work remotely, vacation or your in the Navy looking for something temporarily. We have 1.7 Landscape acres where the Island deer and Eagles roam free. We also have a fire pit to cook smores. Make sure you look at all photos. Please read House Rules.

Near a bus line, Don't feel like going to Canada or Mount Baker tonight? Stay here instead and get an early start in the morning. Quiet but close to everything. We allow dogs for a 20.00 night fee. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHEN BOOKING IF YOU HAVE A DOG. No cats.

Sauk Valley homestead in the North Cascades

This is a great spot to decompress from society and heal. The cabin is centrally located on some acreage with me on-site off State route 20. There's hiking destinations in every direction! I'm happy to be a sort of tour guide and provide info on special places to see and where to eat and drink if you'd like. We are about 6 miles from Bellingham, Lynden and Ferndale, and 17 miles from the Canadian border. Seasonal Farmstand. Farm tours available by appointment. Bathroom with shower in a nearby building, and an outdoor kitchen usually available April thru October. Microwave and fridge available year round.
