Mendip Molly - Palace on Wheels

Mendip Molly is a Showman Wagon, set on the beautiful Mendip Hills just 10 mins drive from the Glastonbury Festival site. For nearly 70 years it was the home for generations of traveling showmen and their families. The beautiful 'Living Wagon', built in Dagenham, 1949 still retains much of its original mahogany interior. It’s adorned with cut glass mirrors, chrome fittings and chandeliers. With additions such as a shower room, staying here surely make for a unique memorable and relaxing holiday.

Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Laurie (horse lorry re-invented)

Laurie was in active service until September '22. Now retired from horse movement and fitted to sleep four (see photos). Wrap around deck with steps to the side living door seating area to the rear with lovely views over open countryside. Living area with mini kitchen, hot and cold water, microwave combi, two hobs, fridge & freezer compartment, table & seating for four. Log burner in living area. Fishing on farm. Indoor exercise pool payable locally. (Subject to availability) Toilet 10 meters.

Price is per night per person - extra guests incur extra charge. Stay in an eco-project field, use as a base for exploring or simply stay where you are, enjoying the peace and quiet. Please be aware that low cost comes with a need for you to be environmentally sensitive to your water use and waste disposal. You can bring dogs (sheep in next field) and you can light a fire in the firepit. the caravan is in its own secluded spot a way from the hard standing, in wet weather wellies advised.

Nigel and Maria's vintage Showman's Caravan

Come and stay on the farm in our unique Showman's living van, situated in the heart of Mid Devon, surrounded by wildflower meadows and stunning views across the Devon countryside. The caravan has been renovated with a 1970s charming vintage interior and can comfortably sleep a family of four, with one large double bedroom and two single bedrooms. There is a large lounge with comfy seating and a breakfast bar to sit and enjoy the stunning views and a fully functioning 70s inspired kitchen.

From a sofa which converts into a double bed, kitchen and dining , wine fridge, this holiday home has everything you need for a memorable getaway. With a stairway to the observatory for additional dining and perfect for a panoramic view while relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Outside patio/garden for bbq and alfresco dining. Private toilet and shower block is a short walk away.

“Pippins” A cosy fully self-contained luxury cabin

Luxury shepherds hut, en-suite shower room & wood burner, set in an orchard. We run a licensed riding school, Red Park Equestrian Centre, & have many friendly horses & ponies. A fully self contained unit, well equipped - full size fridge, icebox, two ring hob, smart tv, wifi & a cosy bed. There is outdoor space with picnic bench & a wood fired pizza oven. Be aware there can be noise from a playground. You are within walking distance of the village with wonderful pubs, eateries & takeaways.

Complete privacy with wood fired hot tub and outdoor shower. Full plumbed bathroom by July 2025. A huge deck and swing from which to watch the wildlife and the sunset. Waking distance to dog friendly award winning gastro- pub and direct access onto the hills - ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners. Quirky, rustic, peaceful and beautiful.

Welcome to our unique wee vintage colourful caravan in our front garden. 10 foot long. Cosy small double bed or 1 larger person and child. There is an electric kettle & light. Use of house downstairs toilet and shower room upstairs. It is quiet, peaceful with bird song. Short walk 5/6 mins to the High street & close to sites, shops etc. We have 2 double rooms inside. Enjoy a Magical stay in my little exotic palace whilst you explore Avalon - the place of myths and legend. Back garden.

Old Parlour: Dog-lover’s peaceful/private caravan

Our static caravan is situated in the old parlour of our 16th Century home. Surrounded by beautiful views and countryside- it is quiet, private and rural. We are a little ‘off-grid’ - perfect place to read, see dark skies full of stars, have starlings swoop overhead and sleep in total peace. We are very dog and family-friendly here too- pets are allowed inside, there’s a private garden and access to a fully enclosed paddock to run around in off-lead/play footie. Kids are free to roam!

‘Under Walnut’ is a fully up-cycled cosy caravan for 2 adults and a child You have an outside kitchen, a decking area to sit in the sun Enjoy our quirky outside bathroom and take a shower with a view and enjoy the fire pit. We keep bees and chickens . You will have a private and peaceful meadow. 1 mile from the beautiful village of Wedmore. There are pubs, cafes and village shops.
