The suite includes; a large bedroom, king bed, private entrances, garden deck, contemporary bathroom, and a kitchenette. The location is the stunning South Arm Peninsula offering many coastal trails, beaches, and a key site for viewing the Aurora Australis. Easy access to Hobart (40mins) and the Airport (30ms).

Possum's Nest is cosy beach side cottage 40 minutes south of Hobart and the airport. It's a compact eco-friendly home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can stroll to the jetty to fish, paddle-board or kayak or take a short drive to some our best surfing beaches. Walk to the shop for supplies and take-aways, or 5 minutes drive to South Arm to a great cafe, RSL club and pharmacy. Within a stone's throw to a gorgeous quiet sandy beach Possum's Nest is the perfect getaway.

The Hideout Cabin

Take yourselves away on a stunning waterfront nature retreat at this private, peaceful and stylish solar powered cabin in the middle of the Tasmanian wilderness. Set up for up to four adults, this gorgeous home offers waterfront views, two luxurious bedrooms, a large kitchen with a Glemgas 6 burner gas stove and oven, an indoor fireplace, coffee machine and a fire-pit for enjoying balmy evenings. Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula.

Unique totally beach front cottage sleeps 6 comfortably, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and all the extras you enjoy at home. Wood heater with Netflix and Sing Star. Close to bus stop and RSL. Beds made up before your stay and towels provided. Have fun with the Kayak’s , push bike and fishing rod equipment on site also. Free bottle of sparkling and free WIFI. The kitchen has had a modern renovation in 2025, new kitchen modern appliances have been introduced to this area.

Maning Reef Sandy Bay, Café is next door

The MANING REEF HOUSE is located in Sandy Bay’s affluent golden mile, just in walking distance to Wrest Point Casino, Sandy Bay Centre and the popular Nutgrove Beach and opposite a beautiful water edge Reserve. The views are amazing, you have uninterrupted and spectacular views of the Derwent River, Tasman Bridge and the Hobart CBD skyline. In Good Company Café is next door. It’s open 6am–3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 6am–10pm from Thursday to Monday.

Babysitting available by an experienced member of the host’s family.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Warm and cosy studio at this unique and tranquil getaway with a lovely view of the sea and plenty of parking. Only meters from the water's edge... some of my guests sit on the waterfront and have breakfast and / or coffee ☕️ read a book...This Studio is totally got everything you will need.
