Here you can also meet with the locals to a domino and have a cold Redstripe. Billy'sBay is a friendly fishing village of 200 souls far away from mass tourism. The people are very sociable and often our guests will also be invited to their home. In the neighboring Frenschmans Bay, about 20 min walk, there are a variety of different shops, restaurants and dance bars. To the nearest town - Black River it is approximately 30 minutes by car . A route taxi will take you for about 2U$ per person there. Here is everything what the heart desires. Saturday is market day. Lennie, the owner, born and raised resident of Billy´sBay will tell you everything about the area: where to shop, change money, how to get to the different beaches, practices and much more. He also offer trips to see all the sights of the island. Those who want to can go with Lennie and his captain for a fishing-trip to sea on his fishing boat. As a special he offers depending on wind, weather and the sea, a night walk on the reefs to catch lobsters and crabs, or with a bit of luck to see a big seaturtle. For our guests there are also bicycles and snorkeling equipment available for a small fee. On request, we provide airport transfers.
