Come and enjoy our peaceful country setting surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife. We have a walking trail with a couple of exercise stations and 2 holes of pasture golf and 2 baskets for disc golf. There is a pickle ball/basketball court, lit dance floor and room to play outdoor games. You might want to enjoy an evening picnic in the lit tree area. The Sand Creek Ranch A-frame and Cabana is an updated secluded cottage + separate apartment suite (cabana) located just 5 miles from town, set on a knoll overlooking natural prairie grass with woods and creek behind. The upstairs loft houses the master bedroom with queen bed + full bath, while the main level below boasts an open layout (queen sofa and loveseat + full bath) with decks off all entries (1st and 2nd stories), allowing for wildlife observation and spectacular evening star-gazing.

If you enjoy farm animals, this is the place for you.... horses, cows, turkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and plenty of farm cats and our faithful dog, Ginger can all be found. A simple breakfast will be provided.

Brent & Jean’s Tiny house

This tiny house in a tiny western Kansas town offers rest and relaxation. Arrive early to enjoy a beautiful western Kansas sunset and sleep peacefully! This house was built by my high school students and I at Ness City High School. There is a concrete patio with a fire pit to enjoy the evening. Our neighbors to the west often have calves and the neighbors to the north horses in their pasture. Coming so will be a small laundromat to the south of the tiny house. Come be our guest!

We also have our local library and park right across the street for kids to enjoy.

Welcome to our quiet, relaxing, cozy home sitting on Cottonwood Lake in Sterling, KS. We celebrate holidays and enjoy our summers in this home and wish to share it with you. It’s fully heated and cooled and is a great escape, especially if you enjoy being near the water. We enjoy breathtaking views from the covered deck next to the water. You may also enjoy many amenities which contain going for walks, sitting by the fire ring, or fishing off the dock!
