Listen to the owls and watch the stars , whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. The Hut, called “ Dingle View “is situated in its own private woodland . The Highland Hut

Located in beautiful countryside, with its own private wood burning hot tub and fire pit, as well as five furry faced friends to keep you entertained, the Highland Hut cannot be beat when it comes to having a relaxing break. Marigold, Honey bee, Coco, Arnold and Bertie are our gorgeous highland cattle that live in the field the Hut is located in. (Don’t worry, there is a fence to keep them from joining you in the hot tub!) They really are incredible and will make your stay here one to remember.

Wonderful scenery and walks from the door, with popular towns of Buxton, Leek and Ashbourne all a few miles away by car.

Within the Derbyshire Dales, 2 miles outside Brailsford village. The newly built shepherd hut is nestled on the edge of a small woodland with spectacular views overlooking fields and woodland. It is in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature and wildlife. The hut includes a double bed, bathroom, shower cubicle and a small kitchen area. With towels and linen provided. Also exclusive use of a tennis court and bikes with the hut, just a short walk away is a private fishing pond for you to enjoy.

It once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. The most popular route being ‘The Dragons Back’. Buxton, the local historic spa town, is just a 15 minute drive or 60 minute walk. There are a handful of local villages - Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough, Longnor and Hartington that are all relatively close. The perfect place for hikers, bikers, or simply for a relaxing getaway.

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.
