The house has been sensitively modernised, retaining characteristic features and using timber from the nearby woodland. Easy access to the A590 main road makes it an ideal location for exploring the Lake District. The Cottage sits in a mature garden complete with patio, outdoor seating, gas BBQ, parking, EV charger and cyc;le storage.

Our cosy studio flat is a perfect base for your adventure in the lake district. Located at the southern end of Windermere lake, it has great access to the rest of the Lake District for exploring and only 10 min to Cartmel racecourse. We are close to many great attractions. Ulverston the festival town is just 25 minutes' drive away. There is also a petrol station/shop 20min walk/2min drive. Grange over Sands is a lovely town to visit and have a wander along the promonade over looking the bay.

Don't miss the Haverthwaite Steam Train that runs along the bottom of the garden. If you have the time you can even go for a ride.

Staying at No 2 is like going glamping but in a Grade 2 listed building.
