There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. The station in the local village of Thurston offers regular services to Cambridge and Norwich. The area has plenty of country walks,great pubs and restaurants, and the Suffolk coast is within an hours drive.
