Betty's Cottage is a recently renovated spacious country cottage offering charming and very comfortable accommodation with all modern amenities & facilities. It is situated in a private rural setting just 800 metres from the village of Clonmellon located on the Meath Westmeath border (just 10 minutes drive to Kells & 20 minutes drive to Mullingar). It is an ideal base for you to explore the Boyne Valley, Ireland’s Ancient East and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

The Milking Parlour
