Many of the materials used in this house were either reused from old local houses or milled on the property itself, giving it a lot of character, while remaining modern. You will experience a full immersion in nature out every window and just one step out the door. Just a short ten minutes from historic Nevada City, shopping, restaurants, theater, Deer Creek trail. Yuba River and hiking trails nearby. This studio cabin is perfect for couples or a solo retreat.

Small condo at base of Tahoe Donner ski hill. Its really ideal for 2 people. However, there is a couch that folds down can becomes a bed (suitable for someone under 5.8). Deck overlooks the ski hill and has a killer view. There is a full size fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and induction hot plate. Full bathroom. The unit has a table / work station. There are two chars and there are two black side tables that can act as extra seats so 4 people can sit at the table.

PLEASE NOTE: There are TIGHT STEEP STAIRS INSIDE OF THE HOME, as well as STEEP STAIRS OUTSIDE to get into the home from either entrance. WINTER - 4WD & CHAINS REQUIRED. We have the driveway plowed professionally and you will be responsible for shoveling the stairs and deck during your stay.

Base Camp for Your Next Tahoe Adventure

Welcome to Base Camp! Our cozy studio (308 SF) is located in the Tahoe Donner Lodge Condominiums. The Lodge HOA is less than 50 yards from the Tahoe Donner downhill ski resort - consistently voted as the best place to learn how to ski. Alder Creek Adventure Center (cross-country skiing, hiking, biking) is less than a mile away. A private parking lot is available for our guests. Please note that our condo is not appropriate for more than two guests, including children of any age.
