Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

The White House

Nestled on 10 acres, this peaceful retreat offers access to open fields & native forest –perfect for unwinding. Just a short drive to stunning beaches, boat ramps & Ātiu Creek Regional Park. The self-contained stay includes 2 bedrooms: 1 King bed & 2 King Singles (can be set as a double). Ideal for couples, families, or friends. Plenty of space for trucks, campers, & boats. Relax under the stars, listen to native birds & enjoy the calm. Your 4legged friends are welcome too – with room to roam😃

Kapia Lodge - Luxury waterfront

Kapia Lodge is perched on the edge of the cliffs at Pouto, offering breathtaking views of Kaipara Harbour. Secluded and private, it's the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway. Welcome to Wharehine Farmhouse, a cosy property with luxurious touches nestled in the rural community of Wharehine. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling farmland and the coast. Relax watching the endless stars from the spa or enjoy the north facing living area with bifolding doors opening up to the farm. The seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin below, each with its own separate driveway and amenities. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Views in all directions to draw you into the landscape. Set off a quiet country laneway, only 10 minutes from Mangawhai and the glorious beaches along the Te Arai coastline. Also beckoning are the outstanding Te Arai Links Golf Courses with their fabulous Ric’s and Ocean Restaurants. BTW Ballinree in Gaelic is 'home of the king'.

Situated in a gated estate with a deep-water boat ramp, great beach access with picnic areas, a tennis court, a bird sanctuary, historical sites, bush and farm walks. Kaiwaka, the little town of lights, has great cafes but is also perfectly situated only 15 minutes from Mangawhai with the surf beaches.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.
