You can sit outside undercover and enjoy an al fresco breakfast. There is a pool table and darts for you to waste time on. All good fun. Coromandel Sanctuary

Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present".
