Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. This apartment is in a very central and safe location in Old Fishmarket by St Giles. 5 mins walk to top attractions such as the National Museum of Scotland, Festival Theatre, the Castle. Waverley Station is 10 minutes walk. The Meadows and to George Street and the Newtown beyond are easy to reach. Very suitable for sightseers, old and young. Not a party flat but my second home when working in Edinburgh and so it is not a hotel style offering but I am sure you will love it. New kitchen in 2025

The shopping and entertainment area around Princes Street and George Street is ideally situated approximately half a mile away and provides a huge array of retail outlets, supermarkets, restaurants, clubs and bars.
