Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

The farm Hraunkot and horse rental Lava Horses are located between Husavik, Lake Myvatn and Akureyri, but yet in a peaceful environment with a lot of animals. In my little village Svalbarðseyri I have a cozy apartment for rent. The apartment is equipped with one big bedroom with a bed for two, small cooking facilities and a bathroom with a washing machine. It is possible to get an extra mattress. I have all necessary license from authorities. My place is close to the sea and the beach, its about 15 minutes drive from Akureyri and in the same direction as Húsavík and lake Mývatn. Perfect for every kind of traveler.

Located on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi on the west side of Eyjafjörður, You can explore the majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys either by car or on foot. In the late summer you can go berry picking on the farms land. We are located about 15 km from Dalvík and 30 km from Akureyri.
