Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

A luxurious and modern style cottage near the ski/mountain bike resort Hlíðarfjall that offers guests a comfortable retreat after a day of skiing or other activities. A spacious common area and 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 quality beds. There are 2 bathrooms and a hot tub. A fully-equipped kitchen, a TV (Netflix) and a fiber connected WiFi. Includes a grill and outside seating areas where you will enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area with views of the mountains surrounding Eyjafjörður.

Our one bedroom cottage cuddled into nature in Húsavík suburb with a breathtaking view serves as a tiny home, away from home where you have a lot of privacy and comfort in as close proximity to the spirit of nature as possible. The location is extraordinary as it has breathtaking view, abundant bird-life, spectacular nature and wildlife, country comfort and urban activities and service in town. Walking paths are along the lakes and to surrounding places. Minimum rental is 2 nights.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.

Dark location for Northern Lights viewing for the winter months, straight from the Jacuzzi. Great for those who like hiking in the mountains and stay in quiet and relaxing area.

Bakkakot 1 is the largest of our cabins in the woods, with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. A relaxing retreat in the Icelandic countryside with TV, DVD, well equipped kitchen, shower room, WiFi, games and books, and a shared grill (summer) and hot tub area. We are located 20km from Akureyri, so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.

The cabin is located in Vaðlaheiði the exclusive residence area of Akureyri. This location offers you a quiet atmosphere and a touch of nature. You will have a view of the bay and Akureyri . In the wintertime, you can enjoy the aurora Borealis, and in the summer time the midnight sun. Akureyri is just 10 minutes drive away. There is easy access not only to the center of Akureyri but also to all the interesting sites surrounding it.
