The fortress is situated on the hill (265 m) above the willage Preko. Raised by Venetian Republic in the 13th century. Although in ruins today is the favorite resort of the island of Ugljan which offers a spectacular view of the city of Zadar and more than 200 islands of the Zadar archipelago and National Park Kornati.

Beautiful View from the Fortress Sv. Mihovil from 13th century located at 295 meters. You can walk from Preko or use bicycle or car.
