We love the Sidewinder trail! This is an amazing spot for mountain biking as well.

This is by far my favorite place to hike that's nearby. There are a number of trails that connect and wind through the preserve, so you can cater your hike to your liking. I usually do a smaller loop of about 3 miles. There is a lot of natural desert beauty that you wouldn't expect so close to the city.
