RAMEN NAGI, SM AURA ,TAGUIG. All my friends know I love RAMEN. This one does not disappoint, it’s on the top floor of the mall. If it’s your first time trying Ramen, have medium hardness noodles, go easy on spice unless you really have an appetite for spicy food, pair it with some gyoza and I would order an Asahi beer.

Best ramen in the entire Metro Manila at a very reasonable price...

With a few accolades under its belt, one being Tokyo Ramen Of The Year, Ramen Nagi has come a long way from serving ramens in a hole-in-the-wall ramen house. Its unique signature The Black King may appear intimidating at first glance with the thick black broth in a complex mix of aromatic black garlic and strong spice but when slurped slowly, it is surprisingly smooth with a distinct flavourful taste. Average Cost PHP1200 for two people (approx.) PHP85 for a pint of beer (approx.) Cash and Cards accepted Opening hours · 10am – 10pm Address Fifth Floor, SM Aura Premier, C5 Road Corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City

Ramen Nagi is one of my favourite ramen houses in the metro. This type of food isn’t just for rainy days. In fact, I enjoy a piping hot bowl even on the hottest days of the year and survive the heat out of sheer love and willpower. I love ramen that much. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only hardcore ramen lover out there willing to brave the Metro Manila heat just for their favourite bowl. All I can say is, Ramen Nagi's food is delicious and satisfying and in generous servings, too! For their ramen, they give you a little form so you can specify the flavour, richness of taste, heaviness of special sauce, heaviness of garlic, cut of pork, vegetable ingredient, spiciness, and firmness of noodles. My personal favourite is the Butao King that is extra rich and extra heavy on garlic and special sauce with pork shoulder and green onions and with a level 5 spiciness. The type that I order may be too rich for some, so you might want to request normal or light richness. I also love the Red King which is a red-hot spicy miso-based variant for those who like a fiery kick to their taste buds. It has a mix of garlic, chili oil, and cayenne pepper, topped with a miso-infused ball of minced pork. Their sides are also very good. They have sesame cucumber, pork katsu roll, gyoza, and chicken karaage (the latter two being my favourites). Service is very good with the wait staff responding quickly to calls and requests. They will welcome you with an "Irasshaimase!" greeting, which is typical of many Japanese restaurants. One thing that may be off-putting to some is the price as it is a bit on the higher end. Otherwise, Ramen Nagi is a truly wonderful dining experience and will continue to be one of my favourites.

Located at SM Aura Premier --- my absolute favorite ramen place in Manila! Servings are big and the rich tonkotsu broth is wonderful. Try the Butao King with a soft-boiled egg on the side.
