The beaches of Costa da Caparica extend over 15 kilometers. Most of the beaches have parking and restaurants / bars support. The train, running, only in the summer along the beaches.

A 45min road trip from Cascais takes you across the 25 Abril bridge to the south side Almada. Costa da caprica offers endless beaches with great seafood restuarantes along the way.

Great beaches across the river. You can either rent a car or a scooter or - even better - rent a bike and get the ferry from Belém to Trafaria. Then it's a 3km ride to the beach. Plenty of nice beach bars will be waiting for you.

How about a beach right across the 25th April Bridge on the south side of Lisbon itself? Fantastic sand and infrastructure with nice restaurant that you must book in advance once you get in the beach secure the table for when you are planning to leave and delight yourselves with fantastic meal and lots of Sangria (as long as you are not the driver) Avoid weekends though as it will be filed with locals eager to pass the weekend on the beach and in King Sun
