20 minutes east of Crozet on the edge of Charlottesville is Ragged Mountain Reservoir. It has a 5.5 miles trail to hike around the Reservoir and great Qshing spots. Non-motorized boats, paddle boards are welcome.

This place is AMAZING. For a short walk, long hike, trail run, mountain biking, or water sports... can't recommend enough.

Located right in town, this natural area has a system of trails around a reservoir. Pretty scenery and good hiking, short drive to access.
