Glines Canyon Dam Overlook is in the Elwha Valley area of Olympic National Park. The viewing deck allows you to get a look at restoration of the recently undammed Elwha River and learn about the area’s history. Undamming the Elwha River is the largest dam removal in the world. The drive is beautiful following Olympic Hot Springs road and Whiskey Bend road. If you continue further on Whiskey Bend road take note that the road significantly narrows. Whiskey Bend road, is a one and a half lane dirt and gravel driving challenge.
